Event Description
The Contemporary Art Modern Project proudly presents the 7th Edition of Women Pulling at the Threads of Social Discourse: Don’t Be Absurd. Opening Friday October 17, 2025, and running through December 20, this year’s exhibition explores Absurdism through the transformative medium of fiber art.
Rooted in existential philosophy, Absurdism emerged in the aftermath of the Second World War, reflecting humanity’s search for meaning in the face of indifference and suffering. For this edition, participating artists were invited to engage with the writings of Albert Camus, Franz Kafka, Simone de Beauvoir, Samuel Beckett, and José Saramago, creating circular fiber-based responses that interpret and reimagine these seminal texts.
