The 49th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival is one of the largest free jazz festivals in the U.S. It starts in April and ends on Memorial Day weekend with live outdoor performances by jazz artists from around the world.
The festival’s goal is to share and celebrate jazz music with a wide audience, including fans, young listeners, and aspiring musicians.
It is free and open to the public, organized by the City of Atlanta’s Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, and supported by sponsors and a nonprofit group dedicated to preserving the festival.
