Pablo returns for a monumental symphonic work, Shostakovich’s demonstration and portrayal of human resilience. Considered one of the greatest symphonies of the 20th Century, Shostakovich’s Leningrad is a supreme human achievement. The Leningrad Symphony No. 7 is a monumental portrayal of the human spirit's resilience amidst the brutality of war, particularly reflecting the Siege of Leningrad during World War II.
