Inspired by Beethoven’s Pathetique Sonata and early jazz piano, Anna Clyne’s Stride reimagines familiar musical traditions. Lively and experimental, Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante pairs violin and viola as dual soloists. Beethoven’s brief but mighty quartet carries a serious title but ends with a playful flourish.
