Scheherazade is considered Rimsky-Korsakov's most popular work and was inspired by the Middle Easter and Indian tales known as, "The Thousand and One Nights."Mexican American Violinist Elena Urioste's performance with the Chicago Symphony was described by three different critics as "hypnotic delicacy," "expressive poise," and "lyrical sensitivity." She was recently selected as a BBC New Generation Artist and was featured on the Symphony Magazine cover.
