🌿 SOIL: Where the Light Enters — Opening Night
Friday, December 19, 2025 | 6–9 PM
📍 1310 Gallery , Fort Lauderdale, FL

Join us for the opening night of SOIL: Where the Light Enters — a multidisciplinary community art and wellness exhibition presented by What’s Your Elephant™, curated and produced by award-winning Afro-Latina artist and social practitioner Niki Lopez.

Inspired by the Rumi quote, “The wound is the place where the light enters,” SOIL explores how pain, memory, and lived experiences can become the fertile ground for transformation, healing, and creative rebirth. Through visual art, performance, workshops, and dialogue, the exhibition invites participants to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine what it means to grow through what we go through.

Audiences will experience a dynamic blend of art and wellness — where creativity meets advocacy, performance meets reflection, and art becomes a vessel for collective healing.

✨ Opening Night Features
• Visual art + immersive installations
• Live performances and poetry
• Engaging conversations with artists and changemakers
• Light refreshments and community connection
