Discover the creative possibilities of reduction linocut printmaking in this immersive 6-week Tuesday class designed for intermediate, advanced, and professional artists. From the very first session, you’ll dive into advanced relief techniques—exploring carved textures, painterly effects, and creative experimentation using a single unmounted linoleum block and oil-based inks.
Each week features in-depth instruction, including pin & tab registration, etching press use, and methods for design and pre-planning, giving you the opportunity to refine both technical skill and artistic vision. As you work, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of reduction printmaking and expand your creative repertoire.
By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a collection of original prints and the confidence to continue exploring advanced relief printmaking on your own.
