Event Description
Step into a world where myth and memory collide. Pioneer Winter Collective’s Apollo is a bold dance-theater work that redefines legacy, survival, and connection across generations.
Inspired by Greek mythology and Balanchine’s iconic ballet, Apollo takes on new life through queer history. Instead of Muses, Apollo encounters three queer elders—his own past selves—who guide, challenge, and reflect him. What emerges is a celebration of mentorship, resilience, and the body as a living archive of memory and survival.
This limited three-night run is more than a performance—it’s a tribute to community and a reclamation of who deserves to be seen and celebrated on stage.
