Discover the creative possibilities of photography in this immersive 6-week Tuesday class designed for beginner and intermediate students. From the very first session, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of using a DSLR or Mirrorless camera, learning to move beyond automatic settings to take full creative control.
Each week features hands-on instruction covering camera functions, composition, and lighting basics, along with demonstrations, assignments, and at-home projects. You’ll also explore photography history and concepts to inspire your work.
By the end of the course, you’ll leave with confidence and foundational skills to handle a variety of photographic situations and continue growing as a photographer.
*Please note: DSLR or Mirrorless cameras required; Bridge cameras also welcome. Ages 17 and up.
