Composer-pianist Pablo Ziegler, his quartet featuring Hector Del Curto, bandoneon, Claudio Ragazzi, guitar and Pedro Giraudo, bass and the high-powered violinist Lara St. John perform beloved works from tango maestro Astor Piazzolla’s famous 1987 Central Park concert. The powerful program includes some of the late Argentine composer's most beloved works, such as "La Camorra," “Verano Porteño” and "Concierto Para Quinteto,” as well as exquisite originals by Ziegler. The line-up features the same instrumentation as Piazzolla's iconic New Tango Quintet with which Ziegler played for a decade.
