Following its Audience Favorite Second Place award at the Out at the Movies International Film Festival, NoClosetSpace returns to Tropic Cinema in a newly expanded edition featuring uncovered stories, restored footage, photographs, and interviews celebrating Key West’s LGBTQ history. New additions include stories from Judy McGrath, Jimmy Gilleran, Joey Schroeder, Peter Arnow, Rude Girl, Susan Kent, and many others, along with expanded coverage of the Monster, Copa, 801 Bar, La Te Da, Club 416, and Donnie’s Club International. Filmmaker Tim Dahms will introduce the film, followed by a Q&A with Tim Dahms and Bobby Nisbet after the screening. NoClosetSpace: The History Of Gay Key West — where a small island changed a big part of history.
