Discover the creative possibilities of collage in this immersive 6-week Wednesday class open to all skill levels.
From the very first session, you’ll dive into the fundamentals—learning to create 2D collage works using a variety of materials, including student-produced papers, gel prints with botanicals, alcohol inks, acrylics, and found objects or ephemera. Each week features guided demonstrations that lead into hands-on experimentation, giving you the opportunity to explore both essential techniques and inventive combinations. As you work, you’ll refine your artistic voice, develop your own style, and create a diverse assortment of collages that reflect your unique vision. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a collection of original pieces and the confidence to continue your collage practice long after the session ends.
