Meet the Orchestra is an interactive program for children, their parents, and their grandparents, exploring music and its instruments.
Today's program will begin with a musical rhythm game, where children will learn to create basic rhythm patterns.
The children will watch The Symphonia perform Zwilich's Double Concerto for Violin and Cello and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5.
This week's guest conductor, James Judd, will speak to students about the music and the role of a conductor in the ensemble.
Elissa Lee Koljonen and Yumi Kendall, the Violin and Cello soloists will speak with the children and demonstrate their instruments.
