Event Description
Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida opens its season with an exciting contemporary program featuring a new work for the company: "Nuestros Valses" by Venezuelan choreographer Vicente Nebrada, and music by Venezuelan composer Teresa Carreno. It will be Zane Wilson and Yanis Pikieris from the Vicente Nebrada Foundation who will stage this piece. Choreographer Yanis Pikieris will also re-stage his exuberant piece “Danzon”, with music by Mexican composer Alberto Marquez. A new piece by Alberto Mendez will be include as well as the new work by Vladimir Issaev based on the movie “Vertigo” on a libretto by Baltasar Santiago Martin.
Other pieces from the classical Latin repertoire will complete the opening of the 20th anniversary program.
