Event Description

Discover the creative possibilities of metal clay in this immersive beginner class designed for aspiring jewelry artists.

From the very first session, you’ll dive into the fundamentals—learning how to work with fine silver and bronze clays, a versatile medium that is easy to texture, mold, and sculpt. Each week features guided demonstrations that lead into hands-on experimentation, giving you the opportunity to design your own textures, create silicone molds, and craft earrings, hollow bead forms, and pendants set with fire-in-place stones. As you work, you’ll refine your metalworking techniques, explore creative combinations with other media, and develop a deeper understanding of metal clay as an expressive material. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a collection of original jewelry pieces and the confidence to continue creating independently.

*Please note: Materials Kit Fee $120 payable to DFAC; includes fine silver & bronze clay, silicone mold material, cubic zirconia, and other essentials.
