Event Description
Discover the creative possibilities of metalsmithing in this engaging 6-week Monday class designed for intermediate students ready to grow their skills. From the very first session, you’ll dive deeper into torch control, explore advanced stone-setting methods—including unusual bezel and tube settings—and strengthen your overall jewelry fabrication techniques.
Each week features guided, technique-based projects that lead into hands-on practice, giving you the opportunity to refine essential skills while gaining confidence at the bench. As you work, you'll expand your fabrication toolkit and advance your understanding of metalwork through structured exploration and instructor support.
By the end of the course, you’ll leave with polished, skill-building projects and the confidence to continue developing your metalsmithing practice.
*Please note: Basic metal fabrication skills are required. This class builds on DFAC’s Fundamentals of Jewelry Fabrication I & II or equivalent experience. Ages 17 and up.
