Event Description
Experience Atlanta’s rich history on the HHM West End Art & Walking Tour. This guided tour takes you through one of the city’s most historic neighborhoods.
Led by Robert Thompson of Insight Cultural Tourism and Ravi Windom from Hammonds House Museum, the tour explores important landmarks, historic homes, public art, and key sites that shaped Atlanta and African American culture. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about the artists, activists, and leaders who made a lasting impact.
The tour ends at the Hammonds House Museum, located in Atlanta’s third-oldest Victorian home. There, you can explore exhibitions that celebrate Black art and culture. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this tour offers a meaningful and memorable way to experience the West End.
From hands-on workshops and dynamic book signings to lively family and community programs, our calendar is packed with chances to engage with art in meaningful ways.
Partnering with Fulton County’s legacy institutions—including the National Black Arts Festival—and leading arts organizations and local universities, we create welcoming spaces where you can connect, collaborate, and celebrate.
Join your neighbors for vibrant art activities, meet acclaimed artists and authors, and make lasting memories with family and friends.
Discover inspiring programs that unite Atlanta’s art community—and invite you to be part of it.
