Affectionately known as the Gentleman of Salsa, Gilberto Santa Rosa is one of the most celebrated Latin music vocalists in the world for his musical elegance and style. With the ASCAP Latin Heritage Award, six Grammy Awards and, most recently, Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Nicesito un Belero, he has the most #1 hits on Billboard’s Tropical Albums Chart (with 12 in total!). While his style of salsa isn’t easily categorized, Santa Rosa has consistently entertained crowds since the 1980s with his energetic personality, vocal improvisational skills and refreshing sense of humor.
