Each artist will give a brief presentation on their backgrounds, artistic practices, and the themes behind their exhibition. Following the presentations there will be an audience Q & A and time to explore the exhibitions with the artists.
In The Silence That Remains, Sibel Kocabasi transforms textiles of inheritance and survival into meditative spaces of reflection.
In Lo Que Me Habita (That Which Inhabits Me), artist Lisu Vega interlaces memory, language, and material in a sensorial landscape where personal history and ancestral legacies converge.
