Flamingo Fest at Flamingo Gardens

Event Description

Celebrate these great pink birds as they flock to Flamingo Fest at Flamingo Gardens!
Artists from the area will participate in a plein air demonstrations throughout the Gardens. Children and adults alike will form their own flamboyance and strut through the Gardens to a live music while wearing their Flaming Best. Guests will be invited to vote for their favorite outfits/costumes. Prizes will be awarded for best Adult (18+) and Child (17 & under) Flamingo-wear.

Flamingo Fest Weekend Activities February 14 &15:

Flamingo Fest Best Dressed Adult & Child Contest – 1pm daily
Wildlife Caregiver Flamingo Talks twice daily, times Noon & 2pm
Opening of the Flamingo Gardens Photography Contest Finalists’ Exhibit in the Gallery
Recycled Flamingo Art Project presented by students at Western High School
Plein Air Art Daily from 11am – 3pm
Flamingo Gardens Kids' Corner Crafts 11am - 3pm
Live Music by Jimmy Stowe & the Stowaways – 11:30am – 2:30pm
Specialty Foods available for purchase at the Flamingo Pond Café & Grill
Art Reaching Today’s Youth (ARTY) Bus with Free Art Projects – Sunday Only – 10am – 3pm
Free Craft Project with Young at Art – Sunday Only 9:30am – 1:30pm
