From the very first session, you’ll dive into the fundamentals—learning pattern-making, mastering basic and advanced applique techniques, and drawing inspiration from global textile traditions. Each week features guided demonstrations that lead into hands-on experimentation, giving you the opportunity to create original projects while developing your skills and personal style. As you work, you’ll refine your techniques, expand your creativity, and gain confidence in applique as a versatile and expressive medium. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a collection of finished pieces and the confidence to continue your applique journey independently.
