From the very first session, you’ll explore the fundamentals of layering, blending, and color theory—unlocking how colored pencils can achieve everything from expressive sketches to highly refined realism. Each week features guided demonstrations followed by hands-on experimentation, giving you the opportunity to practice new techniques, build confidence, and create work that reflects your personal artistic voice. As you progress, you’ll receive individualized guidance and engage in supportive class discussions designed to help you refine your style and deepen your drawing skills. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a collection of polished colored pencil pieces and the techniques to continue growing your practice.
*Please note: Some drawing experience required. All new students receive a drawing pad and eraser. Ages 17 and up.
