Bring your imagination to life in this fun and immersive three-day ceramic workshop designed for intermediate to advanced artists! Over the course of the workshop, you’ll learn how to build a unique ceramic character from the ground up—complete with expressive facial features, clothing, and personality. The first two days will focus on sculpting and construction techniques, including creating individual body components, attaching them securely, and learning how to “dress” your figure with clay details and texture.
After your pieces are bisque fired, you’ll return on day three to add color and character using underglazes, transforming your sculpture into a finished work of art full of charm and individuality. Whether your style is whimsical, realistic, or completely imaginative, this workshop offers plenty of room for creativity, experimentation, and artistic storytelling. Please bring a bag lunch, as the café will be closed during workshop hours.
