Event Description

On Sunday, September 14th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., join us for the next Conservation workshop “The Trouble with Derelict Traps.”

Ana Zangroniz, our Florida Sea Grant Extension Agent will talk about the derelict trap removal work she’s doing in partnership with Biscayne National Park. She will also cover trap fishing in Florida and Miami-Dade County, defining a derelict trap, what is being done to address derelict traps, management challenges, and what you can do to help!
