The Atlanta Quilt Festival (AQF) is a vibrant celebration dedicated to the preservation and promotion of African American quilting and textile arts. Showcasing an inspiring range of work—from traditional and modern quilts to African American heritage styles, dolls, and other fiber arts—the festival is a cornerstone event for seasoned artists and emerging creatives alike.
At its core, AQF honors two guiding principles:

Each August, AQF comes alive with a dynamic schedule of classes, trunk shows, and a juried exhibit that has grown to feature over 100 quilts. Participants, from beginners to professionals, find joy in learning, networking, and experiencing the rich cultural legacy that quilts carry.
