Conjuring Spirits is an ekphrastic poetry workshop that guides participants through writing, generating new work inspired by and in conversation with the “spirits” that exist at The Deering Estate—both spectral and alcoholic. The estate provides participants with the opportunity to explore the property from a historical, cultural, environmental, and personal perspective.
