Killing Mister Watson- Garden Lecture Series
Thursday 1/23Key West Historian Tom Hambright will present “Killing Mister Watson” hosted by Old Island Restoration Foundation, January 23, 2020 at 6pm-8pm, at the Gardens of the Oldest House Museum, 322 Duval Street. Tom will discuss this historic fiction based on the book written by Peter Matthiessen. Mr. Watson lived 100 years ago and was rumored to have killed as many as 50 plus people. Learn more real information based on Tom’s experience with researching this subject.
Tom Hambright works for the County of Monroe with the public library system as a Local Historian, for whom he curates the Florida History collection. After 21 years with the US Navy as a Commander, he then served as curator for three years with the Key West Lighthouse Museum.
