The Contemporary Art Modern Project is pleased to announce their Summer exhibition "The Immutable Will of Nature," featuring works by multi-media Chinese artist Guang-Yu Zhang, photographer Ziesook You, painters Xuanchen Fan and Su Yu, mixed media artist Cecilia Moy Fradet, and textile artist Hou Guan Ting. The exhibition will be open to the public in our North Miami gallery beginning Saturday, June 22 and will run through Saturday, August 31 2024. The gallery will be hosting an all-day opening reception on June 22 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM, as well as our signature Curator Talk on in July.
The Immutable Will of Nature is curated by Amayah Novela and Gabe Torres.
The artists, Guang-Yu Zhang, Ziesook You, Xuanchen Fan, Su Yu, Cecilia Moy Fradet, and Hou Guan Ting, weave ancient foundations across East Asian and Western cultures together with contemporary interpretations. Together, they react to both the inevitability of the natural world and the capacity of choice as a natural impulse of the human condition. This exhibition serves as a testament to the enduring power of art to draw parallels between the delicate balance of human agency and 'The Immutable Will of Nature.'
