Coral Springs Festival of the ArtsSat 3/21 - Sun 3/22
Coral Springs Festival of the Arts is an adventure to all of the arts. The Festival features an art and craft show with over 200 artists, music from all genres, performing arts that is a cultural trip around the world, a children's area, literary workshops and special events. Gardenfest rounds out the event.
Music will feature bluegrass, jazz, a steel drum band, a Latin revue, Country, and a Billy Joel tribute band. Performing arts will feature Japanese drums, Chinese lion dancers, Peruvian dancers, a Mariachi band, Irish dancers, a Polynesian show, a Dixieland band, banjo players and a capella singers. The highlight of the literary workshops will be Dr. Caren Neile of NPR's Public Storyteller. The special event will feature a living history dance drama of the suffragette movement " A Right to Vote" to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of women achieving the right to vote.
Handicapped accessible the event is free and trolleys to off site parking are free.
