The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden are celebrating the installation of two large-scale Clyde Butcher landscape photographs that are now on permanent display in the Toppino Nature Chapel.
The world-famous Florida photographer and his wife Niki Butcher visited the Garden in May of 2017, well before hurricane Irma blew through. The Garden tour was part of their quest to document Florida’s most beautiful natural areas. The couple generously gifted the Garden with several images, and a Special Projects grant from Florida Keys Council of the Arts helped to pay for archival-quality printing by Key West Fine Art Photography. In addition, photos of birds, butterflies and flowers by the late Keys photographer Michelle Wisnieski were reinstalled in the Nature Chapel as part of the grant project.
The Garden is located at 5210 College Road on Stock Island. For more information call 305-296-1504 or visit www.keywest.garden
