“Scarecrows in the Forest” Contest Call for Artists

The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden kicks off its second annual Scarecrows in the Forest event with a call to students, community artists, not-for-profits and business/creative professionals to create their own scarecrows for display in the Garden.
Show off your scary design skills and enter the “Scarecrows in the Garden” artist design contest. All Scarecrow entries will be on display from September 1st through November 30th. 2020. Scarecrow creators are encouraged to use natural or recycled materials.
There will be 3 entry categories: 1) School age individuals or groups; 2) Not-for-profit groups and 3) Business/Creative Professionals & amateur individuals. Cash prizes will be awarded of $100, $50 and $25 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. A Best in Show $100 prize will be chosen by Garden visitors.
