FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL: ROMANTIC VALENTINE'S DINNER & A MOVIE UNDER THE STARS

February 14th at 5:30 pm

The evening begins with a glass of champagne, a garden tour, live guitar music by Martin Hand, and passed hors d’oeuvres. While feasting on the four-course Latin Fusion farm to table dinner, attendees can enjoy the romantic comedy “Gringo Wedding.” Tickets and more event details here.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an afternoon of sultry music and tango. World-renowned bandoneon master David Alsina performs an afternoon of tangos and more with pianist Anibal Berraute & tango sensation Mariana Quinteros, featuring the music of Astor Piazzolla. MIAMI CITY BALLET: TO MIAMI, WITH LOVE

MCB will be sharing the joy of dance through a series of outdoor pop-up performances around Miami. Each short new work is choreographed and performed by the extraordinary MCB dancers. CORNELL ART MUSEUM AT OLD SCHOOL SQUARE

February 14th

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Cornell Art Museum. They will be giving each visitor a special handmade Valentine card, created special for the Museum by the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Troop Number 20820, part of the Luna Council in Boca Raton. The girls were encouraged to create cards based on the style of children’s book illustrator and author, Eric Carle. The Museum sponsored the Troop’s art supplies, and encouraged creativity in the community. In addition, The Cornell Art Museum Store has stocked many Valentine’s gifts, including: Valentine’s chocolate boxes from 5150 Chocolate Co., watercolored cards by Crystal Bacchus, and many more handmade items!
