FUNDING ARTS BROWARD (FAB) VIRTUAL SPRING ANNUAL MEETING
Funding Arts Broward continues to support, sustain, and enriching the arts in Broward County. They are hosting their Spring Annual Meeting, virtually!
The free program will be livestreamed March 23rd at 12pm on FAB’s YouTube channel (RSVP required). It will feature a FAB year-in-review presentation plus an address from special guest speakers and FAB grantee Gold Coast Jazz Society’s Tim Ingham and Pam Dearden. Entertainment will be provided by the Gold Coast Jazz Society.
“As leading arts ambassadors in Broward County, FAB is grateful to have garnered new members and sustained its arts support momentum, despite Covid-19 challenges,” said Ed Hashek, president of FAB. “We’re pleased to be able to support esteemed organizations such as grantee The Gold Coast Jazz Society who is a cornerstone of our musical community. We’re delighted to showcase their talented musicians and we invite the community to join us to learn more about how this organization is advancing the cultural art form of jazz through performances, education and outreach activities.”
Pam Dearden has served as executive director of the Gold Coast Jazz Society since 2004. With over 30 years of experience in arts management and arts administration, she has lent her talents and knowledge in the areas of business, education, outreach and grants to the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Florida’s Singing Sons Boychoir and The Opera Guild of Fort Lauderdale.
